Brushless motors are designed without the brushes and commutators found in brush motors (such as coreless motors), instead incorporating an electrical control mechanism. To operate, they require a control circuit, which uses Hall ICs to detect the magnetic force of the rotor and electrically control its rotation. Additionally, the absence of brush and commutator friction results in a longer motor lifespan compared to brush motors.
・Long life
Since there are no brushes, there is no wear on the brushes or commutator, so the motor's service life is determined by the bearing life.
Therefore, selecting appropriate bearings can enable long-lasting motor usage.
・Smooth rotation (cogging-free) and high-speed rotation
Our brushless motors have a slotless structure, enabling smooth rotation.
Additionally, the absence of mechanical losses caused by brushes and commutators enables higher rotational speeds compared to core-less motors.
・Low Vibration and low noise
The absence of mechanical contact between brushes and commutators allows for reduced vibration and noise compared to brush motors.
・Output Shape
Our strength lies in our ability to customize according to customer requirements, so we can consider the shape of the output shaft based on your needs. Please feel free to consult with us. The basic interface of our brushless motors includes terminals for supplying voltage to the windings U, V, and W, three outputs from the Hall ICs, and eight terminals including power supply and GND for the Hall ICs.
・Low Vibration and low noise
Some of our customers have praised our motors for their low vibration and quiet operation. Our motors excel in applications where rotational noise is a concern, such as servo systems and fan-equipped masks. We have implemented measures to suppress imbalance caused by variations in magnets.
・Excellent controllability
There are structures with slots to house the coils in the motors, and those without slots. While slots can prevent the motor from overheating, they also risk affecting motor performance and causing cogging. Our motors adopt a slotless structure, eliminating cogging and providing excellent controllability.
Brushless motors tend to have a longer service life, partly because brushless motors have no brushes.
Depending on the conditions of use, they generally have a life span of several hundred to several thousand hours.
For coreless motors, the guideline is 20,000 r/min, and for brushless motors, it is 40,000 r/min.
Suitable for precision equipment and applications requiring low power consumption, such as surgical support robots, drones, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, analyzers, electronic locks, and pumps.
They generally boast high efficiency of over 80%, but it varies by model.
